1 Samuel 4:15, Genesis 27:1, Genesis 48:10, Deuteronomy 34:4-7

In Children’s Church recently, Samuel was the subject of the lesson.  As I read about him, I discovered that when he was 98 he couldn’t see.  I then got curious about the eyesight of others in the Bible.  When Isaac grew old he couldn’t see.  Similarly, his son, Israel (Jacob), could barely see when he was old.  But when Moses was 120 years old, his eyesight was fine.  It appears to me that God made or kept Moses’ eyesight great so he could clearly see the Promised Land from the mountain.
