Jeremiah 3:21-22

I finished reading Jeremiah recently, and one of the verses that stood out to me was the above verse.  It’s about Israel’s people forgetting God and their backsliding.

If you’re unsure what backsliding means, it’s when people have a sweet relationship with God, but then distance themselves to let sin take over.  To return to God, one must battle the backsliding with repentance.  Here’s how Billy Graham explains it:

If you find yourself battling backsliding, slay that sin!
