Isaiah 30:26

On June 13th, a Full Strawberry Moon occurs.  “June’s Full Strawberry Moon got its name because the Algonquin tribes knew it as a signal to gather ripening fruit.”

We’ve seen how bright a full moon can get, but that is nothing compared to the moon’s light in Isaiah 30:26.  In this verse the moon’s light is compared to the sun’s light and the sun’s light is compared to “the light of seven days.”  The Reformation Study Bible by R. C. Sproul, says that the verse points out that “God is with His people.”  What a comfort that the same God that can adjust moonlight or sunlight is the same God that’s with those that are His!
