Genesis 2:19-20, Psalm 147:4

In Genesis, names were given to animals, so God oversaw nomenclature in zoology.  In Psalm 147:4, we learn that God has names for the stars, so God established nomenclature in astronomy.

It’s unlikely there is even one human that knows all the names of the animals on Earth.  And astrophysicists have to estimate the great number of stars.  They don’t come anywhere close to naming them individually.  http://imagine.gsfc.nasa.gov/docs/ask_astro/answers/970115.html

God knows all of the names of the animals, even those humans haven’t discovered yet.  And God knows the names of all of the stars.  God’s knowledge in two areas of science is just a glimpse of what He fully knows.

No man can compare to God’s vast knowledge.  The Lord is to be greatly revered!
