Genesis 1:20-31, 11:1-5, 7-9

Many mornings my husband and I wake to birds chirping.  We sometimes try to guess what they’re saying.  But God doesn’t have to guess.  He knows.  He created animals and humans.  The above subject line is a tiny sample of what God could hear from his throne, the communication of His creation.  He knows what every bird chirp means.  He knows what every dolphin click means.  And whether a child excitedly yells, “Cake!” in English, Spanish, French, Russian, German, Chinese, etc., God knows what that means too.

So the next time you get frustrated that scientists are taking too long trying to study animal communication, and the next time you are impressed by someone who is bilingual, stop and remember the Creator.    Be impressed by our all-knowing God!
