Matthew 19:24, 24:35

One October morning I took my son to school and on our walk from the car, I spotted a folded dollar bill on the sidewalk.  Like you, I have seen many pennies and occasional silver coins on the ground, but this was the first dollar bill I’ve found.  It was a windy day and the dollar was next to some leaves.  It could have blown away or later gone up a leaf truck hose.  Yet, I left it there thinking that it could be some lunch money a parent might be looking for.

Eventually, that dollar bill and even the earth itself will pass away!  God’s word won’t pass away, so let’s make sure God is number one in our lives.
