Genesis 39:2, 41:44-45, 41:53-57, Exodus 2:10, 13:14, 13:19

Joseph and Moses both had Egyptian families but neither of them sought an Egyptian family.  Joseph was taken out of an Egyptian prison and given an Egyptian wife after interpreting Pharaoh’s dreams/nightmares.  As a child, Moses was taken to Pharaoh’s daughter to become her son.  Joseph and Moses lived in Egyptian households and helped their people.  Thanks be to God, Joseph helped feed his people (and others) in a severe famine and Moses helped his people out of slavery.

It’s also noteworthy that Moses brought along Joseph’s bones because of an oath.  As Moses was traveling with the Israelites he might have thought about how he and Joseph both had Egyptian families.
